Elements

Below you can find the fundamental elements of AWB listed in the order in which they appear in the menubar.

1. [File...]: The structure-window (via [File.../New/Empty structure] oder [File.../New/Predefined]) and its buttons (linked):

2. [Windows...]

   This menu allows you arrange, refresh or foreground windows. (Cf. also Window list below.)

3. [Options...]

4. [Open new] opens the new-window with the following tabs:

   1. Direct product
   2. Congruence set
   3. Morphism set
   4. Substructure set
   5. Extensions
   6. Other
      • Expression editor
      • Macro editor

5. [Window list]

   Opens a window which displays an overview of all windows currently in the workspace. Double-click the symbols to bring the corresponding window into focus.

6. [Help]

The computer program "Algebra Workbench" (AWB) was created by Markus Sprenger. The documentation found here is based on a 2005 master thesis by Christoph Röthlisberger. The translation and adaptation of the material was done by Cindy-Jane Armbruster.
